Construction Technical Specialist

About the Role:

CFA General Contractor is seeking a highly skilled Construction Technical Specialist, known as Geometra in Italian, to oversee our administrative practices, project estimation, and safety compliance tasks. This role is central to ensuring that our projects are not only innovative and sustainable but also aligned with all regulatory requirements and safety standards. As a Geometra, you will be instrumental in managing project documentation, cost estimation, and overseeing the safety protocols as the Safety Coordinator on site (CSP/CSE).

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage all necessary administrative documentation for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Conduct detailed cost estimations and prepare bills of quantities to support accurate budgeting and financial planning.
  • Serve as the key liaison between project management teams and regulatory authorities, facilitating permits, and approvals.
  • Oversee and implement safety protocols on construction sites, fulfilling the roles of CSP (Safety Plan Coordinator) and CSE (Safety Execution Coordinator) to ensure project compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with architectural designs, budget constraints, and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Geometria, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in handling administrative practices, cost estimation, and safety compliance in the construction or architectural sector.
  • Proficiency in relevant softwares for drafting such as Revit and Autocade, and project management, and cost estimation softwares, such as Primus and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction laws, health and safety regulations, and the ability to act as CSP/CSE on construction sites.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain meticulous records.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Italian (required for local regulatory compliance) and ideally in English.
