About the Role:
CFA General Contractor is on the hunt for an Energy Efficiency Solutions Specialist with a passion for sustainability and innovation in construction. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive our efforts to integrate energy-efficient solutions into our projects, focusing on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Your expertise will help us achieve our commitment to sustainable and innovative architectural designs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate energy-efficient MEP systems, ensuring they meet sustainability goals and compliance standards.
- Work closely with design and construction teams to integrate MEP solutions that enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance.
- Conduct energy simulations and analyses to optimize building performance and sustainability.
- Stay abreast of advancements in energy-efficient technologies, including photovoltaic systems, to incorporate the latest innovations into our projects.
- Provide technical guidance on MEP design, energy conservation measures, and photovoltaic system integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in MEP design and energy efficiency solutions within the construction or architectural industry.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Familiarity with photovoltaic design and experience with PVsyst or similar software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to staying informed on the latest industry trends and technologies in energy efficiency and sustainable design.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
